As much as I love using my fly gear I decided to give baitcasting a try to see if I was missing anything. Well by being able to present larger baits I caught and released 14 big bass during the month of June. But you never know what to expect. The bass have moved out of the areas I was catching them in and now I have to work to find them. In the meantime while searching with my flyrod and a deerhair mouse. I caught a big slab crappie on the mouse.
